If a mother who has primary care, custody and control of a dependent child(ren) is seeking child support what are her rights?

A court order establishing paternity will be necessary for a mother seeking support. A mother can apply any time as long as the child is a dependent minor. Evidence of income and varied expenses of both parties will lead to the determination of a child support award based upon the PA Child Support Guidelines. 231 Pa. Code Rule 1910.16-1.
