What are a Landlords rights in relation to Drugs, Alcohol, and Tobacco?

If the tenant is of legal age to consume and possess alcohol, then their landlord cannot prohibit it in any way. Landlords can ban tenants from smoking in the units but cannot legally prohibit them from possessing tobacco. If the tenant is using medical marijuana, then their landlord cannot prohibit them from consumption, but can prohibit recreational marijuana. Further information would be stated in the lease agreement.
