What if the lease doesn’t allow for the landlord to make changes?

If the landlord is not allowed to make changes to the lease, they may have wait until the lease expires and make the change for the following lease. The landlord may also come to an agreement with the tenant and together they can amend the lease to include the desired change. If the tenant wishes to make a change to the lease, they may propose the change to their landlord but the landlord is under no obligation to make an amendment on the tenant’s behalf.
